The Sound Scripts Series at Rec Room Arts (Houston, TX) features 9 new plays developed through the Rec Room Writers Group over the the course of six months. This series seeks to explore an innovative approach to theatre which embraces the current challenges due to COVID-19. Plays were rehearsed over Zoom and recorded over Zencastr; then edited in post by the sound designer and audio producer to create a cohesive product, including theme music, sound effects, underscoring, and occasional vocal effects for the actors.
